The R元88 antibody specifically binds to an epitope present on the CD98 heavy chain (CD98hc, also known as the 4F2 cell-surface antigen heavy chain or 4F2hc) which is encoded by Slc3a2. CD98 is a disulfide-linked heterodimer comprised of an ~86 kDa single-pass type II heavy chain glycoprotein that associates with a ~39-kDa multi-pass, nonglycosylated light chain which belongs to the L-type amino transporter family. The R元88 monoclonal antibody recognizes CD98 which is also known as the 4F2 antigen and Ly-10. Since applications vary, each investigator should titrate the reagent to obtain optimal results. For fluorochrome spectra and suitable instrument settings, please refer to our Multicolor Flow Cytometry web page at.Please refer to to access safety data sheets (SDS).Dilute azide compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in plumbing. Caution: Sodium azide yields highly toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. An isotype control should be used at the same concentration as the antibody of interest. Please refer to for technical protocols. However, verification testing has not been performed on all conjugate lots. The production process underwent stringent testing and validation to assure that it generates a high-quality conjugate with consistent performance and specific binding activity.Researchers should determine the optimal concentration of this reagent for their individual applications.
